You always ask how you can help. I now know how!
All you need to do is show your face on May 20th. That’s it! Just show up for cancer at the Band of Parents gala on May 20th at Marquee.
I know it can be tough to motivate. How our PJs call us. How at times nothing feels less appealing than leaving your cozy bed after a long day of work/ dealing with kids to a charity event, but you know what I’m also learning, sometimes you got to SHOW UP.
Showing up in life is the ultimate battle.
And Nightwing plays to win.
Nightwing only wins.
So let’s fill this club up! Let’s dance. Let’s dance the shit out of cancer.
SO NIGHTWING, please open your calendar app and markdown BUSY SAVING CHILDREN LIVES on May 20th from 6:30-9:00. And show then show up!

Every penny counts as Band of Parents have funded the studies that allow me to have hope. The immunotherapy that Jacob now receives was funded by this band. We are so thankful for them, but we still have a long way to go. Tonight I sat at a table with parents of neuroblastoma. There were 4 of us and 2 of us lost our children, but yet here they are still fighting in their memory. The fight is anything but over.
Please help me in thanking them by funding the next wave of treatments that could get us closer to a cure.
