Hello, I'm Abby Brody, a lifelong educator, futurist, and firm believer in the transformative power of education. My journey began in the elementary school classrooms, where I discovered the joy of igniting curiosity in young minds. Over the years, I've had the privilege of founding innovative educational models such as Avenues: The World School, Mind the Gap, and The MYX. My work has always been centered on experimenting with educational paradigms that leverage technology to empower teachers, emphasizing real-world application and mentorship.

However, my journey took a deeply personal turn when my son was diagnosed with a rare pediatric cancer. This experience thrust me into a world of isolation, surrounded by the harsh realities of children battling cancer. It was during this time that this blog began as a lifeline to the outside world. Through my writing, I've connected with thousands of individuals touched by cancer who appreciated my raw and unfiltered perspective.
